Promotion of 9 IPS officers in Chhattisgarh: छत्तीसगढ़ में 9 IPS अफसरों को सरकार ने तोहफा दिया है. मंत्रालय में मुख्य सचिव अमिताभ जैन की अध्यक्षता में हुई विभागीय पदोन्नति समिति की बैठक में अधिकारियों की पदोन्नति को लेकर निर्णय लिया गया. खबर है कि जल्द ही पदोन्नति से संबंधित आदेश भी जारी कर दिया जायेगा.

DPC ने इन अफसरों के प्रमोशन को मंजूरी दी
2006 बैच के आईपीएस मयंक श्रीवास्तव, आरएन दास और बीएस ध्रुव को DIG से IG पद पर प्रमोशन दिया गया है.
2010 बैच के आईपीएस अभिषेक मीना, सदानंद और गिरिजाशंकर जयसवाल को DIG पद पर प्रोन्नति दी गई है.
2011 बैच के आईपीएस संतोष सिंह और इंदिरा कल्याण एलेस्ला को सेलेक्शन ग्रेड में प्रमोशन दिया गया है. इन अधिकारियों का पदनाम अब बदलकर एसएसपी कर दिया जाएगा.
प्रमोशन प्राप्त अधिकारियों में मयंक श्रीवास्तव में इस समय डेपुटेशन पर जनसंपर्क आयुक्त की जिम्मेदारी संभाल रहे हैं। वहीं, आरएन दास एसआईबी और बीएस ध्रुव डीआईजी सीएएफ बस्तर के पद पर हैं। अभिषेक मीणा पीएचक्यू में हैं। सदानंद रायगढ़ के एसएसपी हैं तो संतोष सिंह बिलासपुर और इंदिरा कल्याण ऐलेसेला सूरजपुर के एसपी हैं।

2006 batch IPS Mayank Srivastava, RN Das and BS Dhruv have been promoted from DIG to IG.
2010 batch IPS Abhishek Meena, Sadanand and Girijashankar Jaiswal have been promoted to the post of DIG.
2011 batch IPS Santosh Singh and Indira Kalyan Alesla have been promoted to selection grade. The designation of these officers will now be changed to SSP.
Among the promoted officers, Mayank Srivastava is currently holding the responsibility of Public Relations Commissioner on deputation. Whereas, RN Das is on the post of SIB and BS Dhruv is on the post of DIG CAF Bastar. Abhishek Meena is in PHQ. Sadanand is the SSP of Raigarh while Santosh Singh is the SP of Bilaspur and Indira Kalyan Alicela is the SP of Surajpur.
