Strong earthquake shocks in Delhi-NCR: राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली और एनसीआर समेत आसपास के कई इलाकों में सोमवार रात करीब 12:45 बजे भूकंप के तेज झटके महसूस किए गए. देर रात अचानक आए इन झटकों से इलाके में अफरा-तफरी मच गई. भूकंप के झटकों से घबराकर लोग अपने घरों से बाहर निकल आए. भूकंप की तीव्रता का अंदाजा फिलहाल नहीं लगाया जा सकता है.

Strong earthquake shocks in Delhi-NCR: इससे पहले 11 जनवरी को भी दिल्ली-एनसीआर क्षेत्र में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए थे. जम्मू-कश्मीर में भी भूकंप के झटके महसूस किये गये. रिक्टर स्केल पर इस भूकंप की तीव्रता 6.1 मापी गई.

भूकंप का केंद्र अफगानिस्तान के फैजाबाद में था. दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत जम्मू-कश्मीर और पंजाब में भी भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए. यह भूकंप अफगानिस्तान में सतह से 220 किलोमीटर नीचे आया था. ये झटके पाकिस्तान समेत कई देशों में महसूस किए गए.

नए साल की शुरुआत में जापान में जोरदार भूकंप आया. पश्चिमी जापान में आए भीषण भूकंप में 70 से अधिक लोगों की मौत हो गई। वहीं इस प्राकृतिक आपदा में कई इमारतें ढह गईं और लोग मलबे में दब गए.

इससे पहले 3 जनवरी को जापान के इशिकावा राज्य और उसके आसपास के इलाकों में 4.9 तीव्रता के झटके महसूस किए गए थे. इससे पहले 1 जनवरी की दोपहर को 7.6 तीव्रता का जोरदार भूकंप आया था.

जानिए क्या है भूकंप के केंद्र और तीव्रता का मतलब?

भूकंप का केंद्र वह स्थान होता है जिसके ठीक नीचे प्लेटों में हलचल के कारण भूवैज्ञानिक ऊर्जा निकलती है। इस स्थान पर भूकंप का कंपन अधिक तीव्र होता है। जैसे-जैसे कंपन की आवृत्ति बढ़ती है, इसका प्रभाव कम होता जाता है।

अगर रिक्टर स्केल पर 7 या इससे अधिक तीव्रता वाला भूकंप आता है तो झटके 40 किमी के दायरे में महसूस किए जाते हैं। लेकिन यह इस बात पर भी निर्भर करता है कि भूकंपीय आवृत्ति ऊपर की ओर है या नीचे की ओर। यदि कंपन की आवृत्ति अधिक होगी तो कम क्षेत्र प्रभावित होगा।

भूकंप की तीव्रता कैसे मापी जाती है और मापने का पैमाना क्या है?

भूकंप को रिक्टर स्केल से मापा जाता है। इसे रिक्टर मैग्नीट्यूड टेस्ट स्केल कहा जाता है. भूकंप को 1 से 9 रिक्टर स्केल पर मापा जाता है. भूकंप को उसके केंद्र यानी एपीसेंटर से मापा जाता है.

भूकंप के दौरान पृथ्वी के भीतर से निकलने वाली ऊर्जा की तीव्रता इससे मापी जाती है। यही तीव्रता भूकंप की तीव्रता तय करती है.

Earlier on January 11 also, earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR region. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir. The intensity of this earthquake was measured at 6.1 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in Faizabad, Afghanistan. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Delhi-NCR, Jammu-Kashmir and Punjab. This earthquake occurred 220 kilometers below the surface in Afghanistan. These shocks were felt in many countries including Pakistan.

A strong earthquake occurred in Japan at the beginning of the new year. More than 70 people died in a massive earthquake in western Japan. In this natural disaster, many buildings collapsed and people got buried under the debris.
