पुलिस को बताया कि आरोपी नाबालिग को बहला-फुसलाकर लगातार दुष्कर्म कर रहा था। उसे ये बातें किसी को न बताने की धमकी दी गई. जब घर में कोई नहीं रहता था तो वह उसे जबरन घर से उठा ले जाता था। नाबालिग से करता था दुष्कर्म.

थाना प्रभारी शशांक सिंह ने बताया कि आरोपी का नाम डागेश्वर वर्मा है, जिसकी उम्र 24 साल है. आरोपी के खिलाफ POCSO एक्ट के तहत तत्काल गिरफ्तारी की गई. पूछताछ में उसने रेप की बात कबूल कर ली, जिसके बाद उसे कोर्ट में पेश किया गया. जहां से कोर्ट ने आरोपी को जेल भेज दिया है.
